FLOAT APPLICATIONS – SEAWAY FESTIVAL FLOAT APPLICATIONS are now being taken. You do not have to have your float judged to be a participant in the parade. Please contact Spencer Hockey or Chris Lowery.

SEAWAY FESTIVAL PARADE ENTRIES: PLEASE CONTACT MR. CHRIS COLE AT 315-393-3518. As always, last minute entries are ALWAYS welcomed, but to be included in the printed lineup and to reserve a definite place you should call to let the committee know. FREE

*CRAFT SHOW & WINE FESTIVAL & FARMER’S MARKET – July 20th and 21st at the LOCKWOOD Center. This year’s show is also LARGER than ever. We have added WINE vendors & your favorite food vendors from the Farmer’s Market to make this show something you won’t want to miss.

BATTLE OF THE HIGH SCHOOL BANDS – a Seaway Festival FAVORITE, will again be held on Sunday evening, July 21st at the OFA field. In case of inclement weather, the show will be held IN THE DOME. Come and see all the high school bands in action. Love the parade, but don’t get to see all the bands perform??? Here is your chance! $3 per person

Vendor Participation & Permits

All Vendors wishing to sell items in the park are required to obtain a vending permit from the Seaway Festival.

A city vending permit DOES NOT allow for vending in the park during the festival. Violators will not be tolerated.

New: Parade Walks for Local Politicians

The Seaway Festival Parade has prided itself in keeping the parade a celebration. With that in mind, in an effort to raise funds to cover parade expenses, we will ALLOW politicians to march for an advertising fee. The fee structure is as follows:

  • $100 entry cost for City races
  • $250 entry cost for County races
  • $500 entry cost for State level and above races

Please remember that this is a celebration. Absolutely NO mudslinging. Hand shaking, meeting people, kissing babies, and handing out candy are all welcomed as long as it does not slow the forward progression of the parade. Anyone violating these rules will be escorted from the line of march. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
