Parade & Float Entries

Parade Float Applications

Join the Seaway Festival parade with your very own float! This year’s theme is Family, Friends, Fun, & Fireworks – but you can dress up your float however you please. Entry is available for commercial and non-commercial participants and is FREE! Prizes will be awarded in each division, but you do not have to have your float judged to be a participant in the parade. Float Applications are now being taken – sign up online now!

Parade Entries

Walk, dance, and perform your way down Ford Street in the Seaway Festival parade! Parade walk entry is FREE (though fees do apply for politicians who should register using the designated political entry form). Register early to be included in the printed lineup and to reserve a definite place – but last minute entries are always welcomed.

Parade Entry for Local Politicians

The Seaway Festival Parade is a celebration. With that in mind, in an effort to raise funds to cover parade expenses, we ALLOW politicians to march for an advertising fee. Please refer to the application for entry criteria and costs.

Vendor Permits

Food Vendor Permits

Vendors wishing to sell items in the park are required to obtain a vending permit from the Seaway Festival. A city vending permit DOES NOT allow for vending in the park during the festival.

Craft Show Vendor Signup

Secure your spot at the craft show – offering options for one or two days with the opportunity to vend in the park on the night of the fireworks.

Event Signup

Seaway Festival 5K

Race your way along the Maple City Trail on Tuesday, July 25th. The race begins at 6:30pm and registration will be open at 5:30pm at the Dobisky Center with a $10 entry fee to benefit the Seaway Festival. Top Male and Female runners will receive a trophy and medals will be presented to first place male and female finishers in each of the following divisions: walkers, youth (14 & under), high school (15-19), 20-29, 30-29, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & up.

Cornhole Tournament Signup

The 2023 Annual Cornhole Tournament will be held Sunday, July 30th at the Ogdensburg Moose Lodge #814. Entry is $20 for each 2-person team. Sign up online or return printed forms as instructed.

Sandbar Classic Signup

Hosmer’s Marina will host the 2023 Sandbar Classic fishing derby for kids & adults on Sunday, July 23rd. Entry is $20 for adults and $10 for entrants aged 16 & under. Divisions will include bass, walleye, pike, and perch.

Registration Begins July 10th – MUST REGISTER AT HOSMERS MARINA During Normal Business Hours. First 75 registrants receive a free t-shirt.

Canoe Race Entry

Enter the Rip Friot/Remington Canoe Race on Saturday, July 22nd, hosted by the Seaway Valley Paddlers. The 10-mile race will have a first start line time of 9:30am and a second start line time of 10am. One preregistration per boat! Race day registrations will also be accepted. Payment is required on race day via exact change or check payable to: Ogdensburg International Seaway Festival

3-On-3 On the River

Play in a 3-On-3 charity basketball tournament at Morrisette Park on Sunday, July 30th, starting at 9am.  $30 per team to enter (includes T-shirts!)
